Requirements: The Mission Support Business Unit currently has an opening for a GIS Analyst.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide support in geospatial feature extraction and editing from LiDAR imagery. Candidate will perform data preparation to include splitting and merging imagery along with extracting 2d building shapefiles, tree points, and forest polygons. Candidate will edit 2d/3d building shapefiles, tree points, bare earth imagery, and forest polygons. Candidate will have experience editing data in an SDE editing environment. Candidate will interact daily with supervisors and/or functional peer groups. Candidate must have ArcMap experience, be familiar with reading cartographic products, experience with imagery interpretation, have experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel. Experience with quality control is also preferred.

Education: Bachelors degree in Geography or related field or equivalent and 1+ years of experience.

Required Skills: ESRI products including Arc GIS.
