LIDAR specialists are needed immediately to participate in various aspects of maritime (bathymetric) and terrestrial (topographic) surveys in Saudi Arabia.

The LIDAR specialist should be experienced in data processing, data analysis and quality control/quality assurance (QA/QC).  Additional specialization in either hydrography or photogrammetry is highly desirable but not essential.  The LIDAR specialist should have experience using some combination of ESRI GIS software, Bentley MicroStation, Applied Imagery QT Modeler, QCoherent LP360, Merrick MARS, Microsoft Excel, etc.  Experience in LIDAR data storage and management is also highly desirable.

Applicants should be male, have a baccalaureate or higher degree, and have a minimum of four years experience in survey and GIS projects.

The LIDAR Specialist position offers an attractive salary, housing, transportation allowance and vacation package. All salary is net to the employee, because there is no personal income tax in Saudi Arabia.  The position also offers excellent long-term (multi-year) employment prospects.  The work environment is very dynamic and the work presents an exciting range of technical and practical challenges that must be met in order to survey the complete coastal zone of the Red Sea and Arabian Gulf.
